METAL DETECTOR AND REJECTION SYSTEM FOR PIPELINE APPLICATIONS
This metal detector and rejection system was specially developed to meet high detection and hygiene requirements
in the analysis of liquid and viscous products (sauces, jams, marmalades, baby foods etc.).
The metal detection device consists of type a MDP Plus-R search coil and MDP Plus-E evaluation electronics -
please see relevant data sheets.
The MDP Plus-R 8.4 and MDP Plus-R 12 search coils are used depending on the nominal width (NW) of the pipes:
Along with magnetic metal particles, high-alloy steels as well as non-ferrous metals (copper, brass, aluminium, lead, etc.)
are also detected. The operating sensitivity of products with a high product effect (all moist, conductive products)
is greatly dependent on the product characteristics such as temperature, moisture, salt content, type of conveyance,
lumpiness of product additives etc.
Different outputs [Q] can be achieved depending on the speed of conveyance and the nominal width of the guide pipe.

PRODUCT GUIDE PIPE
The standard version of a non-conductive product guide pipe is a POLYACETAL pipe (other designs on request).
SYSTEM PRESSURE FOR POLYACETAL PIPES
The maximum permitted system pressure depends on the product and cleaning medium temperature,
and the nominal width.
Note: Short-term peak pressures may exceed the permitted permanent operating pressure by 100 %.
The complete exchange of remaining product in the rejection path is
achieved by rejection that must be carried out periodically.
The ejector is pneumatically activated.
The available operating pressure must be 6 bar.
According to customer requirements, various flanges are available for both product guide pipe and rejection device.
STAND CONSTRUCTION (Option)
The stand construction is manufactured completely from blasted stainless steel.
The use of lockable guide rollers means that it is easy to move the entire system to where it is needed.
The height of the system can be adjusted in the range from 750 mm to 1000 mm using two clamping flanges.
